Q: What is included in the new team kit?
A: We are pleased to say we have the following on offer: T-shirt, land training vest, shorts, tracksuit jacket and bottoms with a legging offered for females. We are very excited to say that we are also offering a kneesuit and swimsuit for the females and jammers and trunks for the males as well as a Hamilton Aquatics towel.
Q: Which kit should we use until new one arrives?
A: All swimmers should continue to wear the current team kit and we ask that all swimmers wear the new kit from the new season onwards.
Q: What do we do with an old kit?
A: Charity donation, frame it 😉
Q: What is the minimum kit that we must have?
A: As a minimum we request all swimmers to have the t-shirt and shorts, from the new season onwards.
Q: What are the costs associated with the new team kit, and are there any discounts for multiple siblings or bulk orders?
A: We are not offering discounts on the team kit. Given previous parent feedback and quality costs, we have been very careful with our selection of team kit provider and therefore items are being offered at the best price possible.
Q: Are there specific sizing guidelines or charts to help choose the correct size for each swimmer?
A: Yes, there is a size guide against each item on the Swimzi website.
Q: How can we order the new team kit, and what is the ordering process?
A: Team kit will be ordered from the Swimzi website, you can pre-order the kit here. The order window will close on 31st May 2023, this is to ensure that Swimzi can prepare all orders and dispatch ahead of the new season.
There will be four order windows per year and as soon as one order window closes, the next one will open. Each order window will give an indication of the expected delivery date, however this is not a guaranteed delivery date due to the manufacturing and shipping processes of which we do not have control over.
Q: What is the deadline for ordering the team kit to ensure delivery before the season starts?
A: The first window will close on 31st May 2023.
Q: Will the kit be delivered to parents directly?
A: Parents will order kit directly from the Swimzi website and it will be delivered to Hamilton Aquatics office, the coaches will then distribute to the swimmers at their training sessions. We may have a kit pick up day for the initial delivery, however coaches will confirm this nearer to the time.
Q: Will there be opportunities to try on samples of the new team kit before purchasing?
A: Swimmers will have the opportunity to try on samples ahead of ordering, this will take place at the Hamilton Aquatics Last Chance meet 6th – 7th May 2023.
Q: What is the quality and durability of the materials used in the new team kit?
A: One of the reasons we chose to partner with Swimzi is because they are renowned for the quality of their products, with numerous UK clubs using them as well as international teams. Each product has been designed and chosen with swimmers in mind. The shirts are a soft polyester and allow for a rapid wicking of sweat and moisture. The swimwear is made from a mixture or PBT and polyester and carries all the chlorine resistant properties you would imagine for these items.
Q: How should the team kit be cared for, including washing and storage recommendations?
A: Care instructions will be on the labels of each product
Q: What is the policy for returns or exchanges if the team kit does not fit correctly or there is an issue with the product?
A: There will not be any returns, exchanges, refunds offered due to the products being individualised (with the option of having swimmer names added to the products). This is why we are offering the opportunity to try the kit ahead of ordering and giving guidance on how to accurately measure.
Q: Are there any additional accessories (e.g., swim caps, goggles, or bags) available that match the new team kit design?
A: We are pleased to announce that we have a branded towel and swimsuits/jammers on offer for our swimmers. The kit bags are still with Finis, but the new logo will be added.
Q: Can the new team kit be personalised with individual swimmer names or numbers?
A: Every item available to purchase from Swimzi will have a personalised option.
Q: Do we get new squad caps for free? We got first one for free when we joined the squads initially?
A: We’re pleased to say that we will be offering a free squad cap to each squad swimmer. Thereafter, caps will be at a charge and as usual, can be purchased from the squad coach.
Q: I have recently purchased a Hamilton Aquatics kit bag with the old logo, can this be returned?
A: For those that have recently purchased a kit bag, we will be offering a service whereby we add the new logo free of charge. More details will follow from your squad coach.
